The deal will see Meatless Farm’s innovative pastry products now made available to more than 40,000 restaurants nationwide

Meatless Farm, one of the UK’s fastest growing plant-based meat brands, has secured a deal with UK distributer, Brakes, to now supply its first pastry slice product range to foodservice operators and over 40,000 restaurants nationwide.

The launch includes a trio of readily made slices:

Plant-Based Peppered Beef Slice: Lovingly developed by a team of expert chefs, Meatless Farm’s plant-based beef is marinated in a rich gravy and generously sprinkled with cracked black pepper to make a perfect vegan friendly, on-the-go snack.

Plant-Based Chicken Katsu Slice: Chicken made with pea protein in a delicious katsu curry sauce and wrapped in pastry, this innovative slice offers taste, texture and a popular flavour for a quick and easy snack.

Meat Free Sausage, Bean and Cheese Slice: Providing all the taste and texture of real sausage combined with beans and cheese, this vegetarian slice is a comfort classic loaded with taste and perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Providing a freshly baked experience with just a quick bake, the Meatless Farm pastry slices offer easy portion control and a convenient dine in or take out meal solution for foodservice partners wanting to extend their plant-based offering but may be operating on a reduced menu or have a limited number of staff.

With on trend flavours, the Brakes deal will allow Meatless Farm to take a bite of the growing plant protein market, which is expected to increase seven fold by 2025, equating to a market value of approximately $290billion by 2035, 11 percent of the animal protein market.

Meatless Farm recently announced it was diverting its social media spend to support the hospitality industry during the second phase of re-opening.
