Challenging Perceptions and Driving Growth

The speaker and panel sessions at the Low2NoBev Quench Live Theatre have been announced, aimed at challenging perceptions of the category and giving visitors the insight and latest developments to drive their venue sales. Hosted by industry experts, commentators, producers and analysts, the series of discussions will review trends, offer proven business building advice and provide an unrivalled overview into this fast-growing drinks category.

The wide-ranging programme of talks and discussions at Quench Live in association with BrewDog – driving thought leadership in Low & No – reflects the ongoing explosion of consumer interest and curiosity in low and no alcohol drinks. The speaker presentations and panel sessions have been devised to cover the most relevant aspects of curating and promoting an effective low and no alcohol drinks offer in hospitality venues and will equip drinks buyers with advice on every aspect of the category.

The programme will be spearheaded by the latest research from insight experts Lumina Intelligence and the launch of the Low2No Report 2021, with facilitated focus groups highlighting what drives a diverse range of consumers. From key motivations to decision-making and off/on-trade differentiation, this pivotal analysis will cover all the need-to-know hot topics and attendees will receive a free copy of the report to take away to help translate insights into action.

Visitors will discover what triggers consumer decisions and how they should be looking beyond Millennials to other social groups and occasions as low and no alcohol becomes more socially acceptable. They’ll explore how staff can maximise sales by educating customers with each purchase and pour and take a look at what can be learned from the reduced or alcohol-free markets around the world.

Despite cutting back on alcohol, target consumers are still thirsty for an adult ‘kick’ from their drinks, so Low2NoBev will unearth the latest trends and future opportunities including botanicals, mimicking alcohol’s warming effect and the unfamiliar presence of CBD in drinks.

The Beer Chef, Writer & Presenter Richard Fox is amongst those hosting panel discussions at Quench Live in association with BrewDog, which will feature the leading entrepreneurs, operators and analysts in the sector. Exhibitors will be showcasing their latest brands and successful venue owners will discuss their strategies on food pairing, merchandising and menu development to cater for all customer occasions. Meet Dan Crowther of Hedonist Group, Katy Watts of Britvic, Ellie Webb of Caleno, James Bolton of Mitchell’s & Butlers, Matt Robbins of Big Drop Brewing Co and Camille Vidal of La Maison Wellness as well as gathering industry insight from show supporters the Portman Group and Drinkaware.

Low2NoBev is the first show of its kind to put these drinks firmly in the spotlight and, alongside exhibitors, the Quench Live programme will help unravel some of the remaining mysteries surrounding the category. There are so many exciting drinks now available to offer genuine and delicious choice for anyone who is cutting back on alcohol and many of the market-leading and challenger brands will be exhibiting at the Low2NoBev show. The insightful and engaging speaker programme alongside these brands will be a must for drinks buyers who are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure a reservation for their visit.

Low2NoBev takes place at the Truman Brewery on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th June, featuring 80 brands showcasing their low and no alcohol wines, beers, spirits, cocktails, mixers, functional, and soft drinks. Exhibitors include Diageo, Gimber, Lucky Saint, Ceders, Lyre’s, Campari, Everleaf, Folkington’s, Stryyk, Small Beer and Thomson & Scott.
