Aviko has teamed up with award-winning food and drink photographers, Eat & Breathe to offer one lucky winner the chance to get the perfect pictures for their delicious dishes.

This exciting prize is worth over £1000 and includes a day’s photoshoot, a food stylist to prepare the food, ingredients, and the photo assets from the day for operators to use across their marketing channels. Eat & Breathe offer a new standard in food and drink imagery alongside space for operators to step away from distractions: breathe, think, and innovate.

To apply, all operators have to do is enter via Aviko’s website at https://www.aviko.co.uk/news/food-photoshoot-competition and fill out the online form. The competition closes on 31st July at midnight and the winner will be selected at random and announced via Aviko’s Twitter in August.

Speaking about the competition Mohammed Essa, Commercial Director UK & Ireland, Aviko, says;

“In today’s social media dominated world, it is so important for your food to look fantastic, to put you ahead of your competitors. With Instagram at the forefront of our society, consumers can find any business at just a click of a button. Having the right imagery is vital to building your brand and looking professional. People eat with their eyes and social media is the perfect place to showcase your business in the best possible light.”

With the uncertainty about social distancing measures and what exactly everyone can do, Eat & Breathe have now adopted a remote access to their photography studio, so the winner can direct where necessary from the comfort of their own home.

Darren Hickson, Eat & Breathe director of photography offers operators advice on how to make the most of their imagery:

“It’s not all about expensive equipment, you can still get results on your phone – the majority are equipped with high resolution cameras. If you combine this with good, natural lighting and mastering the best angles, your images will still look delicious and professional. Also, play around with props and the space around your subject to add some extra layers into your pictures.”
